Mediation
Our mediators will inform you about the mediation procedure’s advantages over litigation: control over the result, its flexibility, speed and the cost savings you obtain.
What is mediation?
Mediation is a process where the parties involved manage their dispute, make decisions and reach agreements based on their own interests, assisted by one or several of our mediators.
When?
Our mediators can help in family disputes and disagreements about contracts, relations of a commercial nature and property ownership.
Advantages of mediation:
- Mediation is an efficient dispute resolving process, also saving time and money. Most of the mediations are resolved over a maximum of six sessions, of about an hour and a half.
- Mediators are neutral and have no interests in the process. Their role is to help the parties to resolve the dispute.
- Mediation is a confidential process, everything that is said by the parties and documents provided cannot be disclosed without their authorisation. The sessions are neither recorded nor transcribed.
- Mediators neither make decisions nor propose solutions. If an agreement is not reached legal or arbitration proceedings still remain open.
